We know the formula of circumference of a circle is 2πr.
ATQ ,

[tex] \frac{44}{7} [/tex] × r = 9.04
r = [tex] \frac{9.04 \: × \: 7}{44} [/tex]
r = [tex] \frac{63.28}{44} [/tex]
r = 1.438
Now, as we have to find the length of the diameter ,
So, we know, Diameter (d) = 2 × radius (r)
[tex] \therefore [/tex] d = 2r
Hence, d = 2 × 1.438 ( r = 1.438 )
d = 2.876
d = 2.88 ( approx )
