ancient things from the past.I agree that Aronson will agree with Carnes--McNaughton's statement because they both said the same thing but just in different words. For example in the book "If Stones Could Speak," it will tell what Aronson statement was about when it comes to archaeology and in "Profiles Of Archaeologist," it will tell you the same statement but just in different words. For example it states in the book "If Stones Could Speak," on page 56 "Marc Aronson believes that, “It is about putting aside what you think you know, what has been passed along, and being willing to trust what you yourself see and to test it rigorously.” From this quote the reader will now know what Aronson thinks when it comes to archaeology. In "Profiles Of Archaeologist." On paragraph 19 It states "Being an archaeologist means looking at the world around us in a different perspective. We live in the present as we study the past in order to learn what to do in the future---- on this planet and possibly other. We learn to be humanities while at the same time we practice as scientists. From this quote the reader can understand that both of these statements are similar but they are just reworded. In closing, This why I think that Aronson and Carnes will agree to what to what there statement was.
