Out of every 50 iPods sold by a discount website, 2 were returned as defective. If the
website sold 1,000 iPods this holiday season, how many should they expect will be
returned as defective?

Respuesta :

I don't do much of these... but here are the clues that will really help you.

We know that...

  • Out of every 50 iPods sold by a discount website, 2 were returned as defective.
  • If the
  • website sold 1,000 iPods this holiday season, how many should they expect will be returned as defective?

Clue...

You have to find the ratio... How? well....

To find an equal ratio, you can either multiply or divide each term in the ratio by the same number (but not zero). For example, if we divide both terms in the ratio 3:6 by the number three, then we get the equal ratio, 1:2.
