- Present texts with literal information, with few details and without subjectivity.
- Require the reader to be dynamic and think fast.
The leisurely reading skills is done through literary texts and is carried out slowly, where the reader can interpret and reason deeply in all the points presented. This type of reading should:
- Present texts with a lot of subjectivity.
- Present in-depth reflections on society and human beings.
- Present artistic language.
- Present well-detailed texts with many resources and literary techniques.
Based on this information, we can conclude that these two reading skills, even if they are different from each other, should be encouraged and practiced in all readers, since everyone will face both types of texts and will need to have both types of ability to read efficiently.
