Answer: Lithosphere is the region on the earth where, different types of landforms such as mountains and valleys are formed. It is comprised of silicate materials, and in addition to that different metals are also present. It is a part of the geosphere that constantly interacts with the atmosphere, biosphere and hydrosphere.
The various type of landforms that exist on the earth's surface, undergoes numerous changes and this changes are brought about by the weathering and erosion of the surface due to agents like wind, ice and water.
