The two individuals who inherited an interest in learning from Plato and Socrates were A. Alexander the Great, and B. Aristotle. Socrates was Plato's teacher, and Aristotle became the teacher of Macedonian who later became Alexander the Great. Plato founded the Academy and taught ethics, metaphysics and cosmology, among other subjects.
