Fallacies of inductive or deductive reasoning are fallacies of logos.
Logos is the appeal to reason. It relies on the use of logical arguments in order to convince the audience. Moreover, logos is based on inductive or deductive reasoning. In that way, a fallacy of inductive or deductive reasoning, that is to say a reasoning logically incorrect, is connected to logos. A fallacy of inductive reasoning is also known as a faulty generalization, while a fallacy of deductive reasoning is also called a formal fallacy.
