the lcm of a prime nunber and a composite number is a multiple of the prime number. is this always,sometimes or never?

Never, because a prime number means that it is only multiplied by 1 and itself. Also, 1 doesn't count as an LCM. So, the LCM cannot be a multiple of the prime number
