Examine your own speech and writing carefully for a day or two. Notice what level of speech you use with your family, friends, boss, pastor, co-workers, teachers, and so on. If you need to, review the levels of speech found in the lesson "Semantics." Then write a paper (at least 250 words) describing the different levels of usage and meaning that you use in a day.
