Answer:

Women and African Americans in the U.S gained significantly from the Second World War.

Explanation:

Since the Second World War,  the participation rate for women of the United States in the workforce has nearly doubled, hitting about 55% in 1985. Increases in employment rates were widespread for all categories, especially women having responsibilities of young children. A significant aspect of social reform in the United States has been the educational advancement of the female population. In addition, decreases in fertility rates, as well as reductions in family size increased childlessness, and delayed childbearing has allowed many women to seek job opportunities outside the home. African Americans filled many vacancies left by their white counterparts and it had helped to improve their social status.

Changing workforce demographics contributed to dramatic changes in US industry during and after World War II, as the rate of female and African American participation in the workforce increased significantly.

What are the benefits of social inclusion in the workforce?

The inclusion of all social groups as essential labor forces in a period of war, helped in social reform or provided occupations of positions and work functions previously only offered to the white and male population.

Therefore, through the period of the second war, there was an increase in the educational training of women and the black population, with the generation of more jobs and the achievement of fundamental rights.
