Ben is 9 years younger than his brother Jeff. in 10 years, the sum of their ages will be 67 how old are they now​

If Jeff is x years old, Ben is x - 9 years old.

Ten years later, Jeff would be x + 10 years old and Ben would be (x - 9) + 10 years old.

x + 10 + (x - 9) + 10 = 67
2x + 11 = 67
2x = 56
x = 28

Jeff is 28 right now and Ben is 19 right now.

(x + 10) + (x -9 + 10) = 67

x + 10 + x + 1 = 67

2x + 11 = 67

2x = 56

x = 28

x - 9 = 28 - 9 = 19
