If we consider the north pole of the earth as the north pole of the magnet in the nucleus of the earth, we have to consider that the the magnet with the red end is a magnetic southpole (because opposite poles try to get closer). Consequently, the green end is magnetic northpole and the yellow end is a magnetic southpole.
