The development of Printing press actually helped Renaissance spread to Northern Europe.

Before the creation of the printing press, books were really expensive. Only nobles and famous scholars able to obtain them.

But, after the creation of the printing press, books became much more affordable. This was the way many people in ?Northern Europe able to read the advancement in architecture, art,  politics, science and literature which invented by the renaissance movement.
