Respuesta :

Heroin is a highly addictive drug that is processed from morphine.

Long term use of heroin has physical effects on the structure of the brain as well as organ damage.

Repeated use of the drug brings about imbalances in neuronal and hormonal system, destruction of brain matter which are not easily reversible and affects the way abusers react to stressful situations and behavioural issues.

Heroin also produces some degrees of tolerance and physical dependence. Which requires slow withdrawal to prevent withdrawal syndrome

Long term use of heroin causes harm to Respiratory, Reproductive and Circulatory system as well as cause birth defects in expectant mothers.
