I believe the answer is D because even though c and d are similar, in C,  the total distance ridden is 5 miles because they rode back and forth so you add the distances. In D, you don't earn any profit because you sold the item for the original price. That is why I think the answer is D. A and B isn't  giving 0 as the answer because A is 6 for the answer and B's answer is 24.
