The answer is D. The nervous system does not use endocrine glands to communicate internally - endocrine glands are part of the endocrine system, not the nervous system. Whilst the endocrine glands do help communicate messages within the body through hormones, they do not interact with the nervous system in this way.

The answer is C. Glial cells are not used in communication. They surround the neuron cells, protect and support them by insulating the electrical impulse passing through the neurons. They are different types of glial cells depending on the type of neurons. For peripheral nerves, they are surrounded by Schwann cells while CNS nerves have microglia and oligodendrocytes .
