Can you please help and show the work?

The length of the radius is 3 yd. If doubled, it would be 6 yd.
The formula for area of a circle is A=πr^2. Plug in to find the area:
A=π(6)^2
A=36π
A=113.0973 yd^2
You have already found the area of the smaller circle (28.26) so divide this by the area of the larger circle (113.0973) to find the ratio.
28.26/113.0973=0.25
0.25 in fraction form is 1/4.
Hope this helps!!
