The Albany Plan of Union envisioned the British North American Colonies going through a more centralized and unified government for the thirteen colonies.

After the Albany Congress passed it, the plan was sent back to the British and each American colony; each one of the American colonies rejected it, the colonies were afraid of losing autonomy. The British regarded the plan as too complicated, giving more power to the colonies rather that Great Britain, later on The British thought it was unnecessary and rejected it;  thereby it failed. The Best answer then would be (D).
