Respuesta :
sometimes division is used making the first two answers seem as if they are correct patterns, but really they switch later on in the process
It is important to look at more than the first two numbers in a pattern because a pattern can be anything and you cannot decide from the first two numbers.
What is a sequence?
In mathematics sequence is defined as a list of numbers or objects in a special order.
For example, let's assume a sequence of numbers:
1 , 3 , 9 , 27...........
Now, if we just take the first two numbers of this sequence, one might think that either this series is in arithmetic progression or geometric progression or maybe some other rule, because from the first two numbers you can't see a pattern.
When we take the third no. which is 9, then we will find out that this series is in geometric progression.
Hence it is important to take more than two numbers in a sequence to decide the rule of the sequence.
