Fire trucks have the word FIRE written two ways, as seen here, on the front of the truck. Why is that?

probably to show others who are foreigners seeing the fire truck name as that from another country
The word FIRE is sometimes written in Spanish and English, or English and other languages, so foreigners can know what the word is in their language.
