Respuesta :
This occurs through the process of cell specialization, where in some cells genes are active whereas in others they are not.
Some cells become brain cells and others become skin cells, when the DNA in ALL the cells is exactly the same due to a process called CELL DIFFERENTIATION.
CELL DIFFERENTIATION:
- Cell differentiation is a process whereby a cell becomes specialized in function. Cell differentiation is a characteristics of stem cells.
- Cell differentiation is, however, able to occur due to difference in gene expression of the same DNA contained in each cell.
- DNA (gene) of cells are expressed at different times and hence, cells become specialized. Therefore, some cells become brain cells and others skin cells because of this process.
