Her informal way of expressing the pain is really shocking. Truth’s voice is very authentic because she prefers referring to his own experience to express her ideas.  For one side, this strategy is best to move the audience and make them feel empathy.

On the other side, this argument is weak at the moment of discussing general problematics, as a serious political argument.

  • This fallacy has the name of: argumentum ad misericordiam and consists on manipulating the feelings of the others to make an argument valid.
