I think the two main parts of a resume are assertions and evidence.
Assertions are statements of facts. This is the first part of the resume wherein you make assertions about your abilities, skills, qualities, and achievements.
Evidence is the second part of the resume wherein you list your educational background and employment history. This section lends credibility to all your assertions.
