You have a client that comes in with HIV and is homosexual. The group counseling process is a big part of your program. The group has made numerous negative comments about Aids and the gay community. You're conflicted about how the group will fair. What do you do?

Tell those who are reacting negatively off, you don't know the whole story of the client, so it's best to not react in such a way until you know more. Granted, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions, but it's important for people to keep harsh comments to themselves.
