A chef has 6 cups of berries and will use 2/3 cup of berries for each serving of fruit salad. How many servings can be made? please show all work!

2/3 cup of berries  for each serving

Number of servings =    6 ÷ 2/3
                                       6 × 3/2 =  3*3 = 9      When ÷ changes to × invert the fraction.

Number of servings = 9
