I want to improve this debate that the title is the school day should be shorter:Point 1: we can have more time to rest. Students not only need to do academic work but many also go to extracurricular activities such as taking piano lessons, violin, and swimming. By shortening school time, we can have more time to develop our habits and have more lessons. Except for having more classes, we can also have time to rest.

Point2: Enhancing Focus and Productivity
Secondly, shorter school days can enhance student focus and productivity in the classroom. When we have more rest, we can do things faster and efficiently. Also, we can focus on the time and give 100% results. Hong Kong schools only focus on the time of learning, they forget kids need an extra challenge or additional support and could spend more time meeting with their teachers in a 1-on-1 or specialized small-group setting. If we can be more efficient and have additional support, we can have a good result.

Effect 1: If we have good academic performances, our teachers, classmates, and friends don’t need to be worried about us. If they don’t worry about us and are mad at us, we can have a good relationship with our teacher. Besides, we can lighten our teacher's burden.

EFFECT2: By having a good relationship with them, we will have a happy environment. Happier children can learn better and healthier while happier teachers can seemingly teach better. A happy school environment facilitates an enriching learning experience and blossoms the talents of the students. It motivates activities, boosts creativity, and strengthens social relationships.
