Think of all the technology you use today compared with what your parents had. You can watch movies on a screen that fits in your pocket. You
can buy almost any product or service without having to leave your home. You can summon a virtual assistant with a word or phrase. There are so
many things you are able to do that your parents could not when they were your age. New technology also creates new problems, however, such
as cyberbullying, catfishing, and internet addiction. Some people may even question if all this technology is good for us. This is not the first time
people have felt this way. The literary period known as Romanticism was born from concerns about modernization, and the movement flourished
in the first half of the 19th century.
