What do you hear in the words of the Chorus in Oedipus the King? What are
their concerns? How do they perceive Oedipus, Tiresias, Creon, the gods?
What tones of voice do they use when addressing these characters? What
sorts of literary devices do they use when they speak (imagery, metaphors,
particular types of diction, etc.)? Are they direct? Are they scared? Are they
demanding? Do they offer any less or more insight than the high-powered
characters like Creon, Oedipus, and Tiresias?
